Meditation in our Centres

Every day there is a public meditation on the 16th Karmapa in all of the Diamond Way centres – the practice being a main one for Western students according to the wish of the 16th Karmapa. Karmapa transmitted it to Lama Ole Nydahl in 1975. The essence of this method for reaching Enlightenment is identification with the teacher’s qualities and maintaining this understanding in everyday life.

You can also receive a short explanation before the meditation starts as well ask the questions after it’s finished. The practice itself does not require any preparation or prior knowledge and takes about thirty minutes. The meditation is in the evenings, while a precise schedule you may check on the website of your local Diamond Way centre.
